Eminente 10 years Gran Reserva is a 10-year-old Cuban rum composed of 80% aguardiente (the highest proportion of all Cuban rums), finished for three months in French oak barrels. This type of finish imparts woody and floral notes such as orange blossom or sandalwood. This expression of Eminent 10 years is composed of aguardientes aged in unusual conditions, in a dry cellar, where the water evaporates more quickly than the alcohol. This process explains the 43.5% higher degree than the average of Cuban rums.
