CUBAN COCKTAIL TIPS


President (Presidente)

Ingredients

  • ½ ounce of red vermouth,
  • 1 ½ ounce Cubay Carta Blanca Rum with Mulata Silver Dry
  • Liquor Drops with Cubay Grenadine flavor.
  • Ice Cube Chunks
  • 1 cherry
  • Orange peel

Preparation

All ingredients must be mixed in a composition glass. To serve the drink, a cocktail glass decorated and flavored with orange peel and cherry is used.

Result:

PINOS ISLAND (Isla de Pinos)

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounce of Havana Club Añejo Blanco rum
  • 1 ½ ounce grapefruit juice
  • 1 teaspoon of grenadine
  • Ice cubes

Preparation

In the shaker, combine all the ingredients and serve in an 8 oz glass.

MULATA

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 oz Mulata siver dry rum
  • 1 oz mulata cocoa liqueur
  • ice cube hit

Preparation

Mix the sugar into the lemon juice, add the Carta Blanca Blanca rum, theCacao Cubay liqueur and the ice. It is beaten and a cocktail glass is used to serve the drink.

Special Havana (Havana Special)

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounce of Havana Club Añejo Blanco rum
  • 1 ½ ounce of pineapple juice
  • 1 teaspoon of Marrasquino
  • Ice Cube Chunks
  • 1 slice of pineapple

Preparation

In the shaker, combine the pineapple juice, Havana Club Añejo Blanco, maraschino and ice. Beat by hand and serve strained in a cocktail glass. Decorate with the pineapple slice.

MOJITO

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz Rum Mulata Silver Dry or Cubay Carta Blanca
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar
  • Juice ½ lemon
  • Soda
  • "Hierba buena" leaves
  • Ice cubes

Preparation

Use a highball glass and dilute the sugar in the lemon juice and a little soda.

Crush the stem of the peppermint without damaging the leaves to release the juice and add them.

Add the ice cubes and the Cubay Carta Blanca rum and fill the glass with soda. Mix and decorate with hierba buena leaves.

CUBA LIBRE:

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounce of Rum Mulata Silver dry or Rum Cubay carta blanca
  • Ice cubes
  • Refreshing cola
  • A few drops of lemon
  • 1 slice of lemon

Preparation

Use a highball glass and mix the Cubay Carta Blanca, lemon drops, cola and ice cubes. Stir and garnish with the slice of lemon.

Strawberry Daiquiri (Daiquirí Fresa)

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Rum Mulata Silver Dry or Cubay Carta Blanca
  • 1 oz of Cubay Triple Sec liquor
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar
  • 5 strawberries
  • 5 ice cube

Preparation

Use a blender to combine the sugar, lemon juice, Cubay Triple Sec liqueur, Carta Blanca or Mulata Silver Dry, strawberries and ice.

Beat until smooth and serve in a sugar-frosted glass.

Cubanito

Ingredients

  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon English sauce
  • 1 ice cube
  • Salt
  • 1 ½ ounce of Santiago de Cuba Carta Blanca rum
  • 5 ounces of Del Real tomato juice
  • 1 slice of lemon

Preparation

Use a 10 oz glass and pour in the lemon juice, English sauce, ice, salt to taste, Carta Blanca rum and Del Real tomato Stir and garnish with the slice of lemon.

Note: English sauce is prepared by beating 1 egg with 6 tbsp milk, 6 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp sugar and 10 gr. butter, 1 tablespoon of mustard, salt and pepper to taste. The preparation is cooked in a saucepan in a bain-marie and stirred until a thick, frothy cream is obtained.

Pina colada (Piña colada)

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounce of Havana Club Añejo Blanco rum or Mulata silver dry rum
  • 1 ounce coconut cream
  • 2 ounces of pineapple juice
  • Hit Ice Cube

Preparation

Use a blender to blend the coconut cream, pineapple juice, Havana Club Añejo Blanco or Mulata Silver Dry Rum and ice cubes.

Beat well before serving in a glass or cocktail glass.
